2 DAY LEVEL 2 TRAINING: Body Positioning, updated content incorporating the latest insights

REGISTER

DESCRIPTION

For experienced bikefitters (minimum 25 bikefits) The body positioning training is a practical training with the aim of increasing knowledge about bike fitting and learning to think critically about what happens during a bike fit. This, together with practical explanations, makes it easier to offer the customer an individually adapted bike fit. The training is based on human skills, communication and feedback, which are indispensable for a perfect bike fit. Much emphasis will be placed on asking the right questions, interpreting feedback and realizing which factors have an impact on this. .It's a refinement over all systematized and data acquisition/technology based approaches that, by nature, try (and fail) to fill the need for a well-trained, dedicated and current bikefitter. Once you know how to fit, you can make the technologies work for you. Hundreds of bike fitters from all over the world have already completed this training, many with experience with various bike fit technology. Almost all report that the way they do a bikefit has improved significantly after completing this training. With many calling it a complete game-changer. It is often noted that due to the increased knowledge, the technology is now better understood and has a more supportive rather than guiding role during the bike fit. So if you are already working with certain technology, or just want to learn how to optimize the results of the bike fit for the specific individual, enroll in this course and we will be happy to share this very satisfying and effective way of bike fitting with you Please note that this two day course covers road cycling (no TT/Offroad) or shoe fittings (-shims/wedges etc) position. All further training starts from the body positioning training. So if you want to do our TT/TRI/Foot Correction/Off Road, we highly recommend doing Body Positioning first. All other courses build on the concepts and skills learned here.

OBJECTIVE

The Torke Cycling Body Positioning course is designed for those who are already familiar with traditional, standard methods of bike fitting and who are looking for a complementary and consistently more accurate approach to understanding the optimization of individual bike positioning.

APPROACH

The Body Positioning course aims to significantly increase knowledge, critical thinking, skills and methods in the practical application of bike fitting for individual cyclists. This course provides the time to get individuals to a point where they can confidently apply the world's leading bike fitting for positioning the contact points with the bike.

The training consists of 1 part theoretical background (about 40%) and a large part practical work. During the practical work, the group is divided into 1, 2 or 3 groups. The participants are also the test subjects so that each participant can experience the individual adjustments.

During the training, different working methods are used, both work on someone's own bicycle (using an adjustable stem), but also on a fit bike / size cycle. This gives the participants insight into the advantages and disadvantages of both methods.

Several commonly used technologies are available during the training (saddle pressure, motion capture, etc,...) but given the neutrality of the training, these are not actively used in the process. However, additional explanation or a demo can be provided to show how certain technologies can be of added value.

Be included in the training

- Any materials used during the fit
- 30 days free use of the Cyclefit software program
- A simple lunch
- Access to our extensive database of images to be used on website and in reports (from business to consumer use only)
